A colorful Easter dessert board filled with chocolate eggs, marshmallow treats, jelly beans, cookies, fruit, and sweet-and-salty snacks. This easy no-cook centerpiece is simple to customize for Easter brunches, parties, and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate Easter eggs, foil-wrapped or candy-coated
  • Mini chocolate eggs
  • Marshmallow chicks or bunnies
  • Jelly beans
  • Chocolate bunnies
  • Easter-themed cookies
  • Pastel candies
  • White chocolate treats
  • Pretzels
  • Popcorn
  • Fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried
  • Grapes, washed and thoroughly dried
  • Chocolate, cheesecake, or marshmallow dessert dip, optional

Instructions

  1. Choose a large serving board, platter, or tray with enough space for the Easter treats.
  2. Place small bowls or ramekins on the board first for jelly beans, small candies, or dessert dip.
  3. Position the largest items, such as chocolate bunnies and large Easter cookies, around the board to create focal points.
  4. Arrange small clusters of chocolate eggs, marshmallow treats, cookies, and pretzels around the larger items.
  5. Keep similar candies together in small groups to create an organized but abundant appearance.
  6. Add the thoroughly dried strawberries and small clusters of grapes.
  7. Fill remaining spaces with mini chocolate eggs, jelly beans, pastel candies, popcorn, and other small treats.
  8. Check the overall arrangement and redistribute treats as necessary to balance colors, shapes, and textures.
  9. Add delicate or perishable treats shortly before serving so they remain fresh.
  10. Serve the Easter candy board at room temperature and replenish popular treats as needed.

Notes

  • For a chocolate-focused board, combine milk, dark, and white chocolate eggs, bunnies, truffles, chocolate-covered pretzels, and brownie bites.
  • For a coordinated pastel board, focus on pink, yellow, lavender, blue, and white treats.
  • For a sweet-and-salty variation, add pretzels, popcorn, salted nuts, and chocolate-covered crackers.
  • Individual Easter boards can be assembled on small plates or in shallow boxes for place settings or party favors.
  • When serving young children, choose age-appropriate treats and consider choking hazards.
  • Shelf-stable candies can be arranged several hours ahead and covered. Add fresh fruit, refrigerated dips, and delicate treats closer to serving.
  • Store leftover shelf-stable treats according to their package directions. Refrigerate fresh fruit and perishable dips separately.
  • Keep leftover fruit separate from cookies and candy to prevent moisture from softening crisp ingredients.
