Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook the eggs to your preferred style, such as scrambled, fried, or folded.
Season the eggs with salt and black pepper.
Place a slice of cheddar cheese over each warm egg and allow it to melt slightly.
Layer the cooked bacon or sausage on the bottom half of each croissant.
Place the cheesy egg on top of the meat.

Notes
Substitute ham, turkey sausage, or Canadian bacon for the bacon or sausage.
Try Swiss, provolone, American, or pepper jack cheese for different flavors.
Add avocado, caramelized onions, roasted peppers, pesto, or hot sauce for extra flavor.
Wrap leftovers tightly and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
Freeze individually wrapped sandwiches for up to 2 months and thaw overnight before reheating.
Reheat in a 325°F (165°C) oven or air fryer for 5–7 minutes to keep the croissant crisp.
