Crockpot Hot Chocolate is a rich, creamy, and indulgent beverage made with milk, cream, chocolate, and cocoa powder. Perfect for holiday gatherings and cozy evenings, it stays warm for hours in the slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Mini marshmallows, whipped cream, or chocolate shavings for serving

Instructions

  1. Add the whole milk, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and cocoa powder to the crockpot.
  2. Whisk gently to combine the ingredients as much as possible.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours.
  4. Stir every 30 to 45 minutes until the chocolate chips are fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract during the final 15 minutes of cooking.
  6. Once hot and creamy, switch the crockpot to the warm setting.
  7. Ladle into mugs and top with marshmallows, whipped cream, or chocolate shavings.
  8. Serve warm.
