Creamy Taco Soup is a rich, flavorful, and comforting dish combining classic taco ingredients with a smooth, creamy base, perfect for cozy dinners or game days.

Ingredients

  1. 1 pound ground beef or turkey
    1 small onion, diced
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
    1 can (15 oz) corn kernels, drained
    1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
    1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    1 cup chicken broth
    1 packet taco seasoning
    1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
    Optional toppings: shredded cheese, avocado, tortilla chips, chopped cilantro

Instructions

Brown ground beef or turkey in a large pot over medium heat until cooked through; drain excess fat.

  1. Add diced onion and garlic; cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Stir in black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, cream soup, chicken broth, and taco seasoning; mix well.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in sour cream or Greek yogurt until fully incorporated and heated through.
  5. Ladle soup into bowls and top with your favorite garnishes.
