Creamy Dill Dressing is a refreshing, tangy dressing made with fresh dill, sour cream, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Perfect as a salad dressing, dip, or sauce, it adds cool, herby flavor to vegetables, proteins, and more.

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  2. 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  3. 23 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)
  4. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  5. 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  6. 1/2 tsp onion powder
  7. Salt, to taste
  8. Black pepper, to taste
  9. Optional: 1–2 tbsp milk or buttermilk to thin

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Add dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well and adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. If desired, stir in milk or buttermilk for a thinner consistency.
  5. Refrigerate for 15–30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled over salads, as a dip, or with proteins and veggies.

Notes

  • Fresh dill gives the best flavor, but dried dill works in a pinch.
  • Refrigerating before serving enhances the flavor.
  • Double the recipe for parties or meal prep.
