Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter or heat olive oil and toast panko with minced garlic and salt until golden and crispy. Set aside to cool.
In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic, anchovy paste (if using), olive oil, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Place chopped romaine in a large bowl and toss with dressing until evenly coated.
