Cranberry Kombucha Mocktail is a festive, refreshing drink combining tart cranberry juice, bright lime, and fizzy kombucha. It comes together in just five minutes and can be customized with fruit, herbs, and your favorite kombucha flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup ginger or berry kombucha
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 12 teaspoons maple syrup or honey, optional
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh cranberries, optional
  • Lime slices or wedges, optional
  • Fresh rosemary or mint, optional

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes, leaving enough room for the cranberry juice and kombucha.
  2. Pour the cranberry juice over the ice and add the fresh lime juice.
  3. For a sweeter mocktail, stir in maple syrup or honey until well combined.
  4. Slowly pour the kombucha into the glass to minimize foaming and preserve the carbonation.
  5. Stir gently to combine without losing too much fizz.
  6. Garnish with fresh cranberries, a lime slice or wedge, and a sprig of rosemary or mint, if desired.
  7. Serve immediately while cold and bubbly.

Notes

  • Keep the cranberry juice and kombucha chilled before mixing for the coldest, fizziest drink.
  • For a ginger-forward variation, use ginger kombucha and add a thin slice of fresh ginger.
  • For a berry variation, use raspberry, strawberry, or mixed-berry kombucha and garnish with fresh or frozen berries.
  • For additional citrus flavor, add a splash of fresh orange juice.
  • For extra fizz, reduce the cranberry juice slightly and add sparkling water.
  • Cranberry juice cocktail is usually sweeter than unsweetened cranberry juice, so taste before adding optional sweetener.
  • To prepare ahead, combine the cranberry juice, lime juice, and sweetener and refrigerate. Add the kombucha and ice immediately before serving.
  • Kombucha can naturally contain small amounts of alcohol from fermentation. For a strictly alcohol-free drink, check the product label or substitute an appropriate flavored sparkling water.
