Ingredients

  • 8 oz Brie cheese
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 oz goat cheese
  • 6 oz salami or prosciutto
  • 1 box assorted crackers
  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 2 pears, sliced
  • 2 cups grapes
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup candied pecans or walnuts
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin butter or fig jam
  • 1/2 cup olives
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish
  • Optional small pumpkins or decorative fall accents

Instructions

  1. Choose a large wooden board, tray, or platter for arranging the charcuterie items.
  2. Place the cheeses on the board first, spacing them evenly around the surface.
  3. Add small bowls of pumpkin butter, fig jam, or olives.
  4. Arrange folded salami or prosciutto near the cheeses.
  5. Fill sections of the board with crackers, sliced baguette, and pretzels.
  6. Add fresh apple slices, pear slices, grapes, and dried cranberries throughout the board for color and balance.
  7. Scatter candied pecans or walnuts into empty spaces.
  8. Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs for a cozy autumn look.
  9. Add small decorative pumpkins or seasonal accents around the board if desired.
  10. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Toss apple and pear slices lightly with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • Smoked gouda, blue cheese, or baked brie make excellent additions for stronger fall flavors.
  • Add dark chocolate, caramel candies, or roasted pumpkin seeds for variety.
  • Arrange large items first, then fill gaps with smaller ingredients for a full presentation.
  • Store crackers separately to maintain crispness.
  • For a vegetarian version, omit cured meats and add extra fruits, cheeses, and nuts.
