Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup cookie butter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 2 tbsp caramel drizzle (optional)
  • 1/4 cup crushed cookies (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in the cookie butter, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix gently until combined.
  6. Fold in any optional mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Add extra cookie butter swirls on top if desired.
  9. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Let the bread cool in the pan for several minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  11. Slice and serve once cooled.
