Soft and fluffy cinnamon rolls infused with rich coffee flavor, layered with a sweet cinnamon filling and finished with a smooth coffee glaze.

Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour
  • Instant yeast
  • Warm milk
  • Brewed coffee (cooled)
  • Granulated sugar
  • Brown sugar
  • Unsalted butter
  • Egg
  • Salt
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar
  • Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, brewed coffee, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for a few minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, and salt, then gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, then cover and let rise until doubled in size.
  4. Roll the dough into a rectangle and spread with softened butter.
  5. Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into even rolls.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again until puffy.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Mix powdered sugar with a small amount of brewed coffee and vanilla extract to create a glaze.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over slightly cooled rolls and serve.

  • Add espresso powder for a stronger coffee flavor.
  • Include chocolate chips for a mocha variation.
  • Use cream cheese frosting instead of glaze for a richer option.
  • Store at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate up to 5 days.
