Chocolate Strawberry Frozen Yogurt Bites are refreshing bite-sized treats made with juicy strawberries coated in creamy yogurt and finished with a crisp chocolate shell. They’re an easy make-ahead snack or dessert that’s perfect for satisfying sweet cravings.

Ingredients

  • 20 fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional)
  • Sea salt, optional
  • Chopped nuts or sprinkles, optional

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together the yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Dip each strawberry into the yogurt mixture, coating it evenly.
  4. Place the coated strawberries on the prepared baking sheet and freeze for 1–2 hours, or until the yogurt is completely firm.
  5. Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil, if using, until smooth.
  6. Dip each frozen yogurt-coated strawberry into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.
  7. Sprinkle with sea salt, chopped nuts, or sprinkles if desired.
  8. Return the bites to the baking sheet and freeze for another 15–30 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully set.
  9. Serve directly from the freezer for the best texture.

Notes

  • Dry the strawberries thoroughly before coating so the yogurt adheres properly.
  • Greek yogurt provides the thickest and creamiest coating.
  • Use dairy-free yogurt and chocolate for a dairy-free version.
  • Try white chocolate, freeze-dried strawberries, shredded coconut, or chopped pistachios for fun variations.
  • Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months, separating layers with parchment paper.
