Chocolate Strawberry Birds are adorable no-bake treats made with fresh strawberries, rich chocolate, and simple candy decorations. They’re a fun and easy dessert that’s perfect for parties, holidays, or making with kids.

Ingredients

  • 12 large fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried
  • 8 oz semi-sweet or milk chocolate, melted
  • 2 oz white chocolate, melted
  • 24 candy eyes
  • 12 small orange candies or orange sprinkles for the beaks
  • Mini chocolate chips or black icing for optional details
  • Parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly and pat them completely dry.
  2. Melt the semi-sweet or milk chocolate until smooth using a microwave or double boiler.
  3. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, leaving a small portion of the red strawberry exposed if desired.
  4. Place the coated strawberries on a parchment-lined tray.
  5. Attach the candy eyes while the chocolate is still soft.
  6. Add a small orange candy or sprinkle to create the beak.
  7. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over each strawberry to resemble wings or feather details.
  8. Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate for about 20 minutes until firm.
  9. Serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Make sure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping to help the chocolate adhere.
  • Use dark, milk, or white chocolate depending on your preference.
  • Decorate with colored candy melts, sprinkles, shredded coconut, or chopped nuts for extra flair.
  • Store in a single layer in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Do not freeze, as the strawberries will release moisture after thawing.
  • These treats are best enjoyed fresh for optimal texture and flavor.
