Chocolate Covered Strawberries are an elegant and easy dessert featuring fresh juicy strawberries dipped in rich melted chocolate. Perfect for celebrations, gifting, or a simple sweet treat, they are customizable with endless toppings and decorations.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 4 ounces white chocolate optional
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable oil
  • Optional toppings: sprinkles, crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or drizzle chocolate

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly and dry them completely with paper towels.
  2. Line a baking sheet or plate with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  4. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, coating most of the berry.
  5. Allow excess chocolate to drip off and place the strawberry on the prepared parchment paper.
  6. Add toppings immediately before the chocolate sets if desired.
  7. Melt the white chocolate and drizzle over the strawberries for decoration if using.
  8. Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
  9. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
