A fun fusion of chicken parmesan and tacos, featuring crispy chicken cooked onto tortillas and topped with marinara and melted cheese. Quick, flavorful, and perfect for an easy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 6 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground chicken with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread a thin, even layer of the seasoned chicken onto one side of each tortilla.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with olive oil.
  4. Place tortillas chicken-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes until chicken is cooked and crispy.
  5. Flip tortillas and cook the other side until lightly golden.
  6. Spoon marinara sauce over the chicken, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  7. Cover briefly to melt the cheese.
  8. Remove from heat, garnish with basil if desired, fold, and serve warm.
