Chicken Alfredo Pizza is a creamy, cheesy twist on classic pizza featuring rich Alfredo sauce, tender chicken, mozzarella, and Parmesan on a crispy crust. It’s an easy homemade meal that’s perfect for pizza night or casual entertaining.

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough or prepared pizza crust
  • Olive oil
  • Alfredo sauce
  • Cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Garlic, minced
  • Italian seasoning
  • Black pepper
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh spinach (optional)
  • Mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • Red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
  • Bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
  2. Roll or stretch the pizza dough into your desired shape and place it on a pizza pan or parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Brush the edges of the dough lightly with olive oil.
  4. Spread the Alfredo sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Evenly distribute the cooked chicken across the pizza.
  7. Add any optional toppings such as spinach, mushrooms, onions, bacon, or tomatoes.
  8. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and the Parmesan cheese.
  9. Season with Italian seasoning, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
  10. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Let the pizza cool for 2–3 minutes before slicing.
  12. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil and serve warm.

Notes

  • Store-bought Alfredo sauce and rotisserie chicken make this recipe even quicker.
  • Use a pizza stone or preheated baking sheet for a crispier crust.
  • Customize with spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, artichokes, or extra cheeses.
  • Avoid using too much Alfredo sauce to keep the crust crisp.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze baked slices for up to 2 months and reheat in the oven or air fryer for the best texture.
