Ingredients

  • 2 packages instant ramen noodles (seasoning packets discarded or reserved)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt, to taste (if needed)
  • Chopped parsley or sliced green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package directions until just tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the milk and heavy cream, if using, and heat until warm but not boiling.
  5. Gradually stir in the cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Season with black pepper, paprika, and salt if needed. Add a small amount of the ramen seasoning packet if desired for extra flavor.
  7. Fold the cooked ramen noodles into the cheese sauce until evenly coated.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions and serve immediately while hot and creamy.

Notes

  • Add cooked bacon or shredded rotisserie chicken for extra protein.
  • Mix in steamed broccoli, peas, spinach, or sautéed mushrooms for added vegetables.
  • Use pepper Jack, Gouda, Monterey Jack, or Colby Jack for different cheese flavors.
  • Sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes or drizzle with hot sauce for extra heat.
  • Reserve the ramen seasoning packet and use only a small amount to avoid excessive saltiness.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat gently with a splash of milk to restore the creamy sauce.
