Cheesy beef taco dip is a warm, layered appetizer packed with seasoned beef, creamy cheese, and bold taco flavors. It’s rich, satisfying, and perfect for parties or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water, then simmer until thickened.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture in the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Layer seasoned beef over the cream mixture.
  7. Spread salsa evenly over the beef.
  8. Sprinkle cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Top with green onions and black olives before serving.
  11. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
