Ingredients
1 pound pizza dough
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired shape.
Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza pan.
Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
Drizzle olive oil on top and season with salt, black pepper, and dried oregano.
Bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve.
Notes
Use a blend of cheeses like cheddar or parmesan for extra flavor.
Add fresh basil after baking for a fresh touch.
For a crispier crust, preheat the baking sheet or use a pizza stone.
Avoid overloading with sauce to prevent sogginess.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
