This Cereal Milk Latte is a creamy and nostalgic coffee drink made with cereal-infused milk and rich espresso. Sweet, comforting, and fun, it’s the perfect café-style latte to enjoy hot or iced.

Ingredients

  • 1 shot espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sweet cereal of choice
  • 1 tbsp sugar or simple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, crushed cereal, caramel drizzle, cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Pour the cereal into a bowl with the milk and let it soak for about 15–20 minutes.
  2. Strain the milk through a fine mesh sieve into a clean container, pressing gently to extract the cereal flavor.
  3. Brew the espresso or strong coffee.
  4. Heat the cereal milk on the stovetop or froth it using a milk frother until warm and creamy.
  5. Stir vanilla extract and sweetener into the milk if desired.
  6. Pour the espresso into a mug.
  7. Add the warm cereal milk and stir gently.
  8. For an iced version, pour the espresso and chilled cereal milk over ice.
  9. Top with whipped cream, crushed cereal, or caramel drizzle if desired.
  10. Serve immediately.

  • Cereal-infused milk can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
  • Adjust sweetness depending on the cereal used.
  • Blend with ice for a frozen cereal milk latte.
  • Top with whipped cream and crushed cereal for a café-style finish.
