Caramel biscuit donuts are a quick and indulgent treat made from biscuit dough, fried until golden and coated in a rich caramel glaze. They are soft inside, crisp outside, and full of sweet flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Separate biscuit dough and cut holes in the centers to form donuts.
  3. Fry dough for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  6. Add brown sugar and milk, stirring until smooth and slightly thickened.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, salt, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  8. Dip warm donuts into the caramel glaze to coat evenly.
  9. Let glaze set slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Roll donuts in cinnamon sugar for a simpler option.
  • Add chopped nuts or chocolate drizzle for extra flavor.
  • Use an air fryer or bake for a lighter version.
  • Store at room temperature for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat briefly in the microwave to soften.
  • Add a splash of milk if glaze becomes too thick.
