A light and refreshing agua fresca made with sweet cantaloupe and zesty lime, blended into a hydrating and naturally flavorful drink perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cantaloupe, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 cups water
  • 23 tablespoons sugar or honey
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the cantaloupe, lime juice, water, and sugar or honey in a blender.
  2. Blend until completely smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness or lime juice as needed.
  4. Strain through a fine mesh sieve if a smoother texture is desired.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator or serve immediately over ice.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and serve cold.
