Cajun Honey Butter Salmon combines flaky salmon fillets with bold Cajun spices and a rich honey butter glaze. This quick and flavorful dish delivers the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and mildly spicy flavors for an easy restaurant-quality meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet or baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  4. Brush the salmon with olive oil.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  7. Arrange the salmon on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
  9. Stir in the honey, garlic, and lemon juice until combined.
  10. Brush half of the honey butter mixture over the salmon.
  11. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  12. Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining honey butter sauce.
  13. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
