Bruschetta Dip is a fresh and flavorful appetizer made with juicy tomatoes, garlic, basil, and creamy layers that capture the classic taste of bruschetta in a scoopable form. Perfect for parties and gatherings, this easy dip pairs beautifully with toasted bread, crackers, or vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Toasted baguette slices or crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, garlic, basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and set aside.
  2. In another bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly onto a serving dish or shallow bowl.
  4. Spoon the tomato bruschetta mixture evenly over the creamy layer.
  5. Chill for about 15 to 20 minutes if desired to allow the flavors to blend.
  6. Serve with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • Cherry or Roma tomatoes work best because they are less watery.
  • Remove excess tomato seeds and juice to prevent the dip from becoming watery.
  • Add mozzarella cheese or avocado for extra richness.
  • Whipped feta can replace cream cheese for a tangier flavor.
  • Red pepper flakes add a mild spicy kick.
  • Top with balsamic glaze for extra sweetness and depth.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
