A Brunch Burger combines a juicy beef patty with crispy bacon, melted cheddar, a fried egg, and a tangy maple-mustard sauce. This hearty burger brings together the best flavors of breakfast and lunch in one satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns, split
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill, grill pan, or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape into patties.
  3. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  4. Cook the burgers for 4–5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  5. During the final minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
  6. Fry the bacon until crisp and set aside.
  7. In a separate skillet, cook the eggs to your preferred doneness.
  8. Lightly toast the burger buns.
  9. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and maple syrup.
  10. Spread the sauce on the top and bottom buns.
  11. Layer lettuce and tomato on the bottom buns.
  12. Add the cheeseburgers.
  13. Top each burger with bacon, a fried egg, and red onion slices.
  14. Finish with the top buns and serve immediately.
