Ingredients
1 cup chai tea, brewed and cooled
1–2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
1 cup ice cubes
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
Brew a strong cup of chai tea and allow it to cool to room temperature or chill.
In a jar or shaker, combine the cooled chai tea, brown sugar, and cinnamon if using.
Stir or shake lightly until the sugar begins to dissolve.
Add ice cubes, seal, and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until chilled and slightly frothy.
Fill a glass with fresh ice and pour the shaken chai mixture over it.
Top with milk and add vanilla extract if desired.
Stir gently and serve immediately.
Notes
Adjust sweetness by reducing or increasing brown sugar.
Use oat milk for a creamier texture.
Add a shot of espresso for a dirty chai variation.
Use chai concentrate for convenience.
Best enjoyed fresh; store brewed tea separately for up to 2 days.
