  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

For the Sliders:

  • 12 mini slider buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • ½ cup pickles (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken

  1. In a bowl, mix buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add chicken pieces and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for deeper flavor).

2. Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce

  1. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, lime juice, and garlic powder until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust spice levels if needed.

3. Fry the Chicken

  1. In a shallow dish, mix flour and panko breadcrumbs.
  2. Remove chicken from marinade and dredge in the flour mixture, coating evenly.
  3. Heat about 1 inch of oil in a skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry chicken in batches for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

4. Assemble the Sliders

  1. Lightly toast the slider buns until golden.
  2. Spread Bang Bang sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
  3. Place fried chicken pieces on top, then add shredded lettuce, red onion, and pickles.
  4. Garnish with fresh cilantro, then top with the other bun half.

5. Serve & Enjoy!

  • Arrange sliders on a platter and serve hot with extra Bang Bang sauce for dipping.

Notes

Baked Option: Bake coated chicken at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway.
Grilled Chicken: Marinate and grill for a lighter, smoky flavor.
Spice Control: Adjust sriracha to make it spicier or milder.
Vegetarian Alternative: Use crispy tofu or cauliflower instead of chicken.
