Ingredients

  • 1 pound pearl onions, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel the pearl onions and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Place the onions in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and add the garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Toss until the onions are evenly coated.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  6. Arrange the onions in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry for 14–18 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes for even browning.
  8. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar during the last 2 minutes of cooking if desired.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
