This festive 4th of July Pizza is topped with melty mozzarella, juicy cherry tomatoes, fresh blueberries, and basil for a colorful red, white, and blue presentation. It’s a fun and delicious centerpiece that’s perfect for Independence Day celebrations, cookouts, and summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 prepared pizza dough or 12-inch pizza crust
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Place the pizza dough on a lightly greased pizza pan or baking stone and shape it into a 12-inch circle.
  3. Brush the crust with olive oil and sprinkle the minced garlic around the edges.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edge.
  5. Top with the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove the pizza from the oven and arrange the cherry tomatoes and blueberries in a festive red and blue pattern.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and season lightly with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  9. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute sliced strawberries for tomatoes if you prefer a sweeter variation.
  • Add grilled chicken, pepperoni, or roasted red peppers for a heartier pizza.
  • Use burrata instead of mozzarella for a richer, creamier texture.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving for a sweet and tangy finish.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven or air fryer to maintain a crispy crust.
