A refreshing and nutritious layered breakfast or snack made with creamy yogurt, crunchy granola, and fresh fruit. Yogurt Parfaits are quick, customizable, and perfect for meal prep, busy mornings, or light desserts.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt or regular yogurt (plain or flavored)
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh fruit (such as berries, banana slices, or diced mango)
  • 1 cup granola
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds, nuts, or shredded coconut (optional toppings)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by washing and cutting the fruit as needed.
  2. Spoon a layer of yogurt into the bottom of each glass or jar.
  3. Add a layer of fruit over the yogurt.
  4. Sprinkle a layer of granola on top of the fruit.
  5. Repeat the layers until the glass is full, ending with fruit and granola on top.
  6. Drizzle honey or maple syrup if desired.
  7. Serve immediately for crunchy granola, or refrigerate up to 1 hour for a softer texture.

Notes

  • Greek yogurt provides a thick, creamy texture, but any yogurt works.
  • To keep granola crunchy, add it right before eating.
  • Use frozen fruit (thawed and drained) when fresh fruit isn’t available.
  • Customize with toppings like peanut butter, seeds, or coconut flakes.
  • Store assembled parfaits up to 3 days in the fridge, or layer just before serving for best texture.
