Whipped Lemon Feta-Labneh Dip is a creamy, tangy, and refreshing dip that combines rich labneh, feta cheese, and zesty lemon for a perfectly balanced flavor. Ideal as a spread, appetizer, or accompaniment to roasted vegetables or pita bread.

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1 cup labneh (or Greek yogurt as a substitute)
2 tbsp olive oil (plus extra for drizzling)
1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
    Zest of 1 lemon
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 tsp ground black pepper
    Salt, to taste
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

In a food processor or blender, combine the crumbled feta cheese and labneh. Add the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic powder, and black pepper. Blend or pulse until smooth and creamy.

  1. Taste the mixture and add salt if needed. If you like a tangier dip, add a little more lemon juice.
  2. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, drizzle with a little extra olive oil, and garnish with fresh parsley. If desired, sprinkle with smoked paprika for extra flavor.
  3. Serve immediately with pita chips, fresh vegetables, or crusty bread, or chill in the fridge for an hour to let the flavors meld.

Notes

  1. For a stronger garlic flavor, add 1-2 cloves of minced garlic instead of garlic powder.
  2. To make it spicier, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or chopped fresh jalapeños.
  3. For a Mediterranean twist, add chopped Kalamata olives or sun-dried tomatoes.
  4. For a vegan version, use plant-based feta and dairy-free yogurt alternatives.
  5. This dip can be made a few hours in advance and stored in the fridge.
  6. If storing leftovers, stir before serving as it may separate slightly.
