Tomato Basil Mozzarella Bagel Toast is a quick and delicious twist on Caprese-style flavors, featuring juicy tomatoes, fresh basil, and melty mozzarella on a crispy toasted bagel. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a light dinner.

Ingredients

  1. 1 plain or everything bagel, halved
  2. 4 slices fresh mozzarella
  3. 1 ripe tomato, sliced
  4. 6 fresh basil leaves
  5. 1 tsp olive oil
  6. 1 tsp balsamic glaze (optional)
  7. Pinch of salt
  8. Cracked black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Slice the bagel in half and toast until golden and crisp.

  1. While toasting, slice the tomato and mozzarella into even rounds.
  2. Drizzle each toasted bagel half with olive oil.
  3. Layer each half with mozzarella and tomato slices.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and cracked black pepper.
  5. Place under the broiler for 1–2 minutes until the mozzarella begins to melt.
  6. Remove and top with fresh basil leaves.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if using.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy immediately.
