12 manicotti pasta shells
1 ½ cups ricotta cheese
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 cups marinara sauce
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil (optional)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook manicotti shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
