A quick and cheesy pizza made using buttery Texas toast as the crust, delivering crispy edges and soft centers with minimal prep.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices frozen Texas toast
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni or preferred pizza toppings
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Place frozen Texas toast slices on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 3–4 minutes to lightly crisp the top.
  4. Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce over each slice.
  5. Add mozzarella cheese and desired toppings.
  6. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan if using.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for 6–8 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use garlic Texas toast for extra flavor.
  • Try different toppings like veggies, ham, or sausage.
  • To make in an air fryer, cook at 380°F for 5–7 minutes.
  • Mozzarella melts best, but other cheeses work too.
  • Not recommended for freezing as toast may get soggy.
