Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Lemon juice (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness for even cooking.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together parsley, basil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Brush both sides of each chicken breast with olive oil.
  5. Rub the herb mixture evenly onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
  6. Grill or cook in skillet for 5–6 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Optional: Drizzle with lemon juice for added brightness.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier result.
  • Marinate in olive oil and lemon juice before seasoning for more flavor.
  • Add crushed red pepper flakes to spice it up.
  • Top with cheese or a sauce to customize further.
  • Double the seasoning mix and store in a spice jar for future meals.
