Ingredients

    • Protein & Veggies:
    • 1 lb lean ground turkey
    • 3 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
    • 1 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced

    • For the sauce:
    • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
    • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
    • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
    • 12 tsp sriracha or chili garlic sauce (to taste)
    • 1 tsp cornstarch
    • 2 tbsp water

  • For serving:
  • Cooked rice, brown rice, or quinoa
  • Sliced green onions (for garnish)
  • Toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sriracha, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it up, until browned and fully cooked (5–7 minutes).
  4. Stir in garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add broccoli and sauté 4–5 minutes until crisp-tender. Add a splash of water and cover to steam if using fresh broccoli.
  6. Pour in the sauce and stir to coat. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Serve over cooked rice or grains. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked or frozen rice to save time.
  • Adjust sriracha for more or less heat.
  • Double the sauce if serving with lots of grains or for extra drizzle.
