Strawberry Mint Iced Tea is a refreshing beverage that combines sweet strawberries, cooling mint, and your choice of tea for a perfect balance of fruity and herbal flavors. It’s great for hot days, gatherings, or anytime you want a light, flavorful drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 4 cups water
  • 23 black or green tea bags (or herbal if caffeine-free)
  • 23 tablespoons honey, sugar, or agave syrup (optional, to taste)
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil and steep tea bags for 5–10 minutes depending on strength and tea type.
  2. Remove tea bags and allow the tea to cool slightly.
  3. In a large pitcher, muddle the sliced strawberries and mint leaves to release their flavors.
  4. Pour the warm tea over the muddled mixture.
  5. Add sweetener to taste while the tea is still warm, and stir until dissolved.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours until well chilled.
  7. Strain the tea if a smoother drink is preferred.
  8. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices, strawberry pieces, or fresh mint.

Notes

  • Use green tea for a lighter, floral flavor or herbal tea for a caffeine-free version.
  • Frozen strawberries can be used; thaw first for better blending.
  • Cold-brew the tea overnight for a smoother, less bitter taste.
  • Strain the tea if you prefer a cleaner texture without fruit and mint bits.
