Ingredients

  • 1 flatbread or naan
  • 6 oz steak (ribeye, sirloin, or flank)
  • ½ cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ cup caramelized onions
  • ½ cup arugula
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese (optional, for extra meltiness)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Instructions

Cook the Steak – Season steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side (or until desired doneness). Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
2️⃣ Prepare the Flatbread – Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush the flatbread with olive oil and minced garlic.
3️⃣ Assemble – Sprinkle mozzarella (if using), followed by crumbled Gorgonzola and caramelized onions. Arrange sliced steak on top.
4️⃣ Bake – Place flatbread on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
5️⃣ Finish & Serve – Remove from the oven, top with fresh arugula, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired. Slice and enjoy warm!
