Steak and Seafood Skillet with Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce combines tender ribeye steak and succulent shrimp in a rich, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. This one-pan wonder is perfect for a special occasion or a cozy dinner at home, delivering bold flavors and indulgence in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds ribeye steak (or your preferred cut)
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1.5 tsp kosher salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Steak: Season the ribeye steak with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side (or longer depending on desired doneness). Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest, covered with foil.
  • Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque and pink. Season with salt and pepper, then remove shrimp and set aside.
  • Make the Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce: Add butter and olive oil to the skillet, followed by minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, bringing to a simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  • Finish the Sauce: Add grated Parmesan and continue to simmer for 1-2 minutes, stirring until the cheese melts into a creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Assemble the Dish: Slice the rested steak into thin strips. Add steak and shrimp back into the skillet, tossing them in the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Serve the steak and shrimp directly in the skillet or plate individually. Garnish with parsley or extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • Swap ribeye for other steak cuts like filet mignon, flank steak, or New York strip.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Try adding sautéed vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or asparagus for extra nutrition.
