Spicy Peach Salsa is a vibrant, sweet, and spicy condiment that combines juicy peaches with the heat of jalapeños, tangy lime, and cilantro. Perfect for topping grilled meats, tacos, or as a dip for chips.

Ingredients

  1. 3 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and diced
    1/2 red onion, finely chopped
12 jalapeños, seeds removed and finely chopped (adjust to taste)
    1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 tablespoon lime juice (about 1 lime)
1 teaspoon honey or agave syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
    Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Peaches: Peel and dice the peaches into small, bite-sized pieces.

  1. Chop the Vegetables: Finely chop the red onion, jalapeños (seeds removed for less heat), and cilantro.
  2. Combine the Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the diced peaches, red onion, jalapeños, and cilantro.
  3. Add Lime and Honey: Drizzle lime juice and honey (if using) over the mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Season: Taste and season with salt and pepper, adjusting the heat and sweetness to your liking.
  5. Chill and Serve: Let the salsa sit for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve with tortilla chips, tacos, or grilled meats.

Notes

  • For added sweetness, use very ripe peaches or add extra honey/agave.
  • For extra heat, keep the seeds in the jalapeños or add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • Store leftover salsa in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
