Ingredients

  • 1 package of little smokies (1416 oz)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the barbecue sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  2. Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  3. Add the little smokies to the sauce, stirring to coat them evenly.
  4. Lower the heat to medium-low and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the smokies are heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.
