This Seasoned Baked Bacon Chicken Recipe features juicy chicken wrapped in crispy bacon and coated with flavorful spices. It’s an easy, satisfying dish perfect for weeknights or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 812 slices of bacon (regular cut)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (optional, for brushing)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top if available.
  2. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pat chicken dry and rub seasoning mix evenly over each piece.
  4. Wrap each chicken breast or thigh with 2–3 bacon slices, overlapping slightly and tucking the ends underneath.
  5. Place the wrapped chicken on the prepared baking rack or sheet.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes (thighs) or 30–35 minutes (breasts), until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for extra-crispy bacon if desired. Watch closely.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

  • Use a wire rack for crispier bacon and even cooking.
  • For extra flavor, brush the chicken with honey mustard or BBQ sauce before wrapping in bacon.
