Ritz Cracker Chicken is a quick and easy dinner made with juicy chicken breasts coated in buttery Ritz cracker crumbs. Baked to golden perfection, it’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenders
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Ritz crackers (about 1 sleeve)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 3 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a baking dish with foil.
  2. Crush Ritz crackers into fine crumbs using a food processor or a zip-top bag and rolling pin.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
  4. In another bowl, mix cracker crumbs with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
  5. Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then coat evenly with cracker crumbs.
  6. Place coated chicken in the prepared dish. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and crust is golden.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use boneless thighs instead of breasts for extra juiciness.
  • For crispier coating, place chicken on a wire rack over the baking pan.
  • Parmesan cheese or dried herbs can be added to the cracker mix for more flavor.
  • To freeze, wrap individually and reheat in the oven for best texture.
