Reese’s Overload Ice Cream Sundae Cake is the ultimate frozen dessert for peanut butter and chocolate lovers! With layers of fudgy brownies, creamy ice cream, warm fudge and peanut butter sauces, and plenty of Reese’s candy, this indulgent treat is perfect for parties, birthdays, and celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 quart chocolate ice cream, softened
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce, warmed
  • 1 cup peanut butter sauce, warmed
  • 1 ½ cups Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped
  • 1 cup Reese’s Pieces candy
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bake the Brownie Base

    • Preheat oven according to brownie mix instructions.
    • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
    • Prepare and bake brownies as directed on the package.
    • Allow them to cool completely before adding ice cream layers.
  2. Add the Ice Cream Layers

    • Spread softened vanilla ice cream evenly over the cooled brownie layer.
    • Freeze for 30 minutes or until firm.
    • Spread softened chocolate ice cream over the vanilla layer.
    • Freeze for another 30 minutes until fully set.
  3. Add the Toppings

    • Drizzle hot fudge sauce and peanut butter sauce over the ice cream layers.
    • Sprinkle chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups and Reese’s Pieces evenly on top.
  4. Freeze & Serve

    • Place the cake back in the freezer for at least 2 hours until fully firm.
    • Before serving, let the cake sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to soften slightly.
    • Top with whipped cream, slice, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Different Ice Cream Flavors: Swap chocolate or vanilla for peanut butter ice cream or cookies and cream.
  • Oreo Crunch: Add crushed Oreos on top for extra texture.
