Radish chips are a healthy, low-carb alternative to traditional chips. Baked to a crispy perfection, these chips are light, crunchy, and packed with flavor. They make a perfect snack or topping for salads, and with just a few ingredients, you can enjoy them guilt-free!

Ingredients

  1. 1 bunch of radishes (about 10-12 radishes)
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional: 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, paprika, or your favorite seasoning mix

Instructions

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup or use a non-stick baking sheet.

  1. Prepare the radishes: Wash and trim the radishes. Cut off both ends and slice them into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick. The thinner the slices, the crispier the chips will be.
  2. Season the radishes: In a medium bowl, toss the radish slices with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add garlic powder, paprika, or your seasoning of choice if desired.
  3. Arrange on the baking sheet: Spread the radish slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, avoiding overlap for even baking.
  4. Bake the chips: Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping the chips halfway through. Check for golden and crispy edges. Keep an eye on them towards the end to avoid burning.
  5. Cool and serve: Remove from the oven and cool on the baking sheet. The chips will crisp up further as they cool. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container once cooled.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, sprinkle grated parmesan on the chips after baking.
  • For a spicy version, add cayenne pepper or chili flakes.
  • For a sweet take, sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with honey.
