Puff Pastry Pizza is a quick and flaky twist on classic pizza, featuring a buttery, crisp crust topped with savory sauce, melted cheese, and your favorite toppings. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings, this easy recipe delivers big flavor with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg, beaten (optional, for brushing edges)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry slightly on a lightly floured surface and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Lightly score a 1-inch border around the edges without cutting through to create a raised crust.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly inside the scored border.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the sauce.
  6. Add pepperoni, black olives, bell peppers, and desired toppings.
  7. Sprinkle oregano and garlic powder over the top.
  8. Brush the outer border with beaten egg if using.
  9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until pastry is puffed and golden and cheese is melted.
  10. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Avoid overloading with sauce to prevent sogginess.
  • Bake on the lower rack for crispier edges.
  • Best served fresh for maximum flakiness.
  • Reheat in oven or air fryer to maintain texture.
  • Not recommended for freezing after baking.
