Ingredients

  • Frozen or homemade potstickers
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 cup baby bok choy or spinach
  • ½ cup mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté Aromatics – Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  2. Build the Broth – Pour in the broth and bring to a gentle boil. Stir in soy sauce and red pepper flakes.
  3. Add Vegetables – Stir in carrots, mushrooms, and bok choy. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Cook the Potstickers – Gently add the potstickers to the broth and cook for about 5 minutes until they float to the top and are heated through.
