Pizza sliders are soft Hawaiian rolls stuffed with pizza sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings, then baked until melty, golden, and irresistibly pull-apart. A fun, quick, and crowd-pleasing twist on classic pizza.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Hawaiian rolls or slider buns
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni or other toppings (sausage, ham, veggies)
  • 23 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Slice the rolls horizontally, keeping the top and bottom in two intact sheets.
  3. Place the bottom half into a greased baking dish.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bottom layer.
  5. Top with mozzarella and desired toppings.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  7. Brush with melted butter or olive oil mixed with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan if using.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 12–15 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake an additional 3–5 minutes until lightly browned.
  10. Slice into sliders and serve warm.

Notes

  • Lightly toast the bottom rolls if you prefer a firmer base.
  • Use pesto, Alfredo, or garlic butter instead of pizza sauce for a twist.
  • Load with veggies for a lighter version.
  • Brush tops with extra butter for richer flavor.
