Pizza Muffins with Biscuits are a fun and easy twist on traditional pizza, using biscuit dough as the base. These individual pizza muffins are quick to prepare, customizable with your favorite toppings, and perfect for snacks, dinners, or parties.

Ingredients

  1. 1 can (8 biscuits) refrigerated biscuit dough
  2. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  3. 1/2 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  4. 1/4 cup pepperoni slices, diced (or your preferred pizza toppings)
  5. 1/4 cup bell pepper, diced (optional)
  6. 1/4 cup onion, diced (optional)
  7. 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  8. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  9. 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing muffin tin)
  10. Parmesan cheese for topping (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin with olive oil or cooking spray.

  1. Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a small circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
  2. Place each flattened biscuit into a muffin tin cup, pressing down gently to form a small crust at the bottom.
  3. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each biscuit base.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then add your favorite pizza toppings (such as diced pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, or any other toppings you prefer).
  5. Sprinkle a pinch of oregano and garlic powder over each muffin for extra flavor.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. If desired, sprinkle with some grated Parmesan cheese once out of the oven for an extra touch of flavor.
  8. Let the pizza muffins cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
