Pepperoni Pizza Roll is a cheesy, savory twist on classic pizza, rolled into a golden crust for a sliceable, shareable snack or meal that’s perfect for parties, game days, or easy dinners.

Ingredients

  1. 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or homemade pizza dough
  2. 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara
  3. 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  4. 4 oz pepperoni slices
  5. 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  6. 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  7. 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  8. Optional: 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  9. Optional: red pepper flakes for topping

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  1. Roll pizza dough into a 10×14-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  2. Spread pizza sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over sauce.
  4. Arrange pepperoni slices in a single layer over cheese.
  5. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder, if using.
  6. Roll dough tightly from a long edge into a log, pinching seam and ends to seal.
  7. Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle with parmesan and/or red pepper flakes if desired.
  9. Bake 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Cool slightly, slice into 6–8 pieces, and serve with extra sauce for dipping.

Notes

  1. For a vegetarian option, replace pepperoni with veggies like mushrooms, bell peppers, or spinach.
  2. Do not overfill with sauce to prevent sogginess.
  3. Brush with garlic butter after baking for extra flavor.
  4. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking for up to 12 hours.
