This Pepperoni Pizza Casserole is a cheesy, hearty twist on classic pizza, loaded with pasta, seasoned beef, pizza sauce, mozzarella, and crispy pepperoni. A quick and easy meal perfect for family dinners, meal prep, or potlucks. Customizable with your favorite toppings, this dish is freezer-friendly and guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) pizza sauce
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2025 pepperoni slices
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional: 1/2 cup diced bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms

Instructions

. Preheat the Oven – Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Cook the Pasta – Boil pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.

3. Brown the Beef – In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.

4. Add Sauce & Seasoning – Stir in pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, and optional veggies. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

5. Combine Ingredients – In a bowl, mix pasta, beef mixture, and half the mozzarella cheese.

6. Assemble the Casserole – Spread mixture in the baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella, parmesan, and pepperoni slices.

7. Bake – Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. Cool & Serve – Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Make-Ahead: Assemble and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.
  • Storage: Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
